Terrence O’Brien

Terrence O’Brien is a contributor to WIRED. He has been covering consumer technology for more than 15 years and most recently was the managing editor at Engadget, where he led a global newsroom and helmed the site’s product coverage, including reviews and buying guides. In addition to reviewing laptops, 3D printers, and albums, he has written about the influence of tech on politics and specializes in music and audio technology, including synthesizers, guitar pedals, and audio software. He has appeared on RT, NY1, The Brian Lehrer Show, WSJ Radio, and ABC Radio. In his downtime, Terrence collects hobbies at an alarming rate.
