6 Essential Podcasts for News, Tech, and Political Junkies
For the March issue's special coverage of the future of journalism, The News in Crisis, we examined an industry battered by plummeting ad revenue and public trust, coupled with the rise in fake news and filter bubbles. In the face of this grim situation, media organizations are struggling to survive: The New York Times is copping some moves from Netflix, Spotify, and HBO; the Washington Post is deploying newsbots; America’s most-wanted whistleblower, Edward Snowden, is teaching reporters how to outsmart government snoops; and a startup called Blavity wants to give voice to the concerns of black millennials.
