Some weeks on the podcast, things are pretty leisurely. Often we can spend the whole hour talking about just one or two things, casually chatting about the small number of pop culture events that caught our attention over the last few days. This was not one of those weeks.
No, in the seven days since we last checked in with you, dear Monitor listeners, we lost one of pop music’s greatest icons with the passing of Prince, got an entire new album and visual experience from Beyoncé, and started a whole new season of Game of Thrones. Seriously, it’s been nuts.
