Super Bowl 50 goes down on Sunday, and here at WIRED, just a few blocks from the seething crowds of Super Bowl City in downtown San Francisco, we've been pretty excited about it.
Over the last few months, we've tried to look at Super Bowl 50 from all sides. We partnered with Sports Illustrated to imagine how the Super Bowl will continue to evolve over the next 50 years. We've covered the downsides of the Super Bowl in 2016, from the gnarly traffic in San Francisco to the hardcore surveillance you'll experience if go anywhere near the game or its related events. But mostly we've covered what will make this Super Bowl the most WIRED one yet: the cameras that will make sure you'll see the action from every angle, the 3-D printed braces that keeps players in top condition, and the app that will streamline every moment of your Super Bowl experience. And for those of us who don't know a punt from a field goal (those are different, right?) we've kept you up to date on the cutest Super Bowl event ever: the Puppy Bowl.
