If your office display is in need of more K's, Samsung has a sweet 4K set you can nab for under a grand.
The 3840 x 2160 resolution monitor has 8 billion pixels, and Samsung claims it can display over 1 billion colors -- great news if you're doing any amount of photo and video editing. The 28-inch screen offers plenty of real estate and comes with a built-in picture-in-picture feature that lets you connect two PCs to the monitor and view both in full resolution, side by side. You can also use it to multitask: Watch a native resolution video while getting other work done on the unused portion of the display. Sounds like a natural recipe for productivity to me.
For connecting computers and peripherals, the U28D590D has two HDMI and one Display Port connection. Because Apple doesn't have its own 4K monitor yet, this could be a great option to pair with the super powerful Mac Pro (although, both companies would probably cringe at the thought, given they're duking it out in court once again).
It's sold out for now, but Samsung's 28-Inch Ultra High Definition LED Monitor will cost $845 on Amazon and ship on April 21.
