There have been scads of mashups of the brilliant website Texts from Last Night – where users submit SMS messages they find on their phones after nights of debauchery – with everything from The Avengers to Game of Thrones. Texts from Star Trek: The Next Generation, however, might just be the best yet. Seriously, where else would we get to see Romulan version of Counselor Deanna Troi text the words "I THINK I JUST JOINED A GANG. PLEASE PICK ME UP"?
Texts from Star Trek: The Next Generation, that's where. And last night the Tumblr, which was created by a Cleveland woman who calls herself Leah Likes, got the biggest co-sign of all: a reblog by none other than Wesley Crusher himself, Wil Wheaton.
"This blog combines Texts From Last Night with screencaps from TNG," Wheaton wrote. "It is brilliant." We'd say "Shut up, Wesley." But in this case, he's right. Check out some of the best Texts from Star Trek: The Next Generation above.
