Lego Cuusoo, the place where new Lego ideas are incubated, currently has two Lego Portal sets up to be voted on. The first set to be introduced, back in January was by user T-Brick. The Portal Test Chamber Set features Chell with a portal gun as well as turrets, a thermal discouragement beam emitter, and blue and orange portals.
The second set is Thinking with Portals by user Brickthing and features three sets. The GLaDOS' Chamber set is over 499 pieces and would include 3 minifigs, the battle platform and GLaDOS. GLaDOS will be able to swing 360 degrees and you will be able to do a core transform between Wheatley and GLaDOS. The Modular Test Chamber has many possibilities, with tiles that can be rearranged around a modular frame. Multiple sets can be combined to create different scenes. Finally there is the Portal Puzzle Board Game where you can build test chambers and challenge your friends to solve them.
Glenn Bricker, who reviews Cuusoo projects on his blog, has a few things to say about both projects. Glenn points out that the Thinking With Portals project is redundant because of the The Portal Chamber Set. I disagree with that; the Thinking With Portals project has more than just a test chamber. As for his other criticisms of the Thinking With Portals project, they can be seen on his blog.
There is no question in my mind which project should be supported: both of them should be supported. Let's face it, this isn't a competition, this is a chance for Portal fans to show Lego how much they want this. If both projects get the required 10K votes then Lego will have to take notice. When that happens everyone wins.
